For more than 25 years, Eagle Custom homes has been exquisitely crafting homes in the Greater Cincinnati area. Unanimous with luxury real estate, Eagle’s portfolio includes full home lifestyle remodels to large estate homes. Their most recent project, The Overlook at Madeira, is a culmination of their luxury real estate experience coupled with the classic German architecture of Cincinnati in a nine- townhome development in the heart of Madeira.
Doug Feagles, owner of Eagle Custom Homes, sees these as becoming “legacy homes” as folks love the charm of these structures, which are reminiscent of the German rowhomes that one might find in Over-The-Rhine. The stunning architecture is both spectacular and simplistic.
“At some point down the road, these homes will be 120 years old and each will have been given its own individual name — like, the yellow one could be called ‘the Yellow Bird,’” says Feagles. “We are the first generation filling them with those in Village of Indian Hill and the surrounding areas.”
The 3,000-square-foot., four-level structures offer gorgeous features and amenities, high-quality fits and finishes, and all the current trends in colors, textures, and design. An understory oversized garage with room for three or more vehicles is included with each townhome. The lower level has a large, private craft/hobby room while the main level includes the kitchen, living room, dining room, and master bed- room with a huge on-suite bathroom. The third floor has two guest rooms, each with their own private bathrooms. The fourth level ex- its onto an 800-square-foot rooftop terrace providing fantastic views. Elevators are available in all the townhomes.
“The view is amazing. You can see for miles,” says Feagles.
In addition, walkability in this community is off the charts, mak- ing it ideal for active adults who wish to be steps from banks, doctors, dentists, grocery stores, pharmacies and restaurants. They can also walk down to the hugely popular Coffee Please, which doesn’t have a sign in the window. Only the locals know where it is.
“It’s always packed with the current problem solvers of the world,” says Feagles.
In recent years, Feagles has noticed a trend in homeowners in their 70s selling their large homes to buy a townhouse.
“These buyers are ready to resize,” Feagles says. “Reformatting to this particular house gives them what they’re looking for.” That includes quality Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances, Progress lighting, artfully craft- ed Amish cabinetry, flawless floorings, Kohler plumbing fixtures, and Cambria quartz counters.
Eagle Custom Homes has other projects underway as well. This spring, they will break ground on a development called Porters Heath. Located in Maineville on Nunner Road, this small community offers two- to four-acre estate lots. Plus, Eagle Custom Homes continues to erect estate homes. For instance, Feagles is currently building a 16,000-square- foot home on the west side that overlooks the Ohio River. On top of that, they take on a good number of remodeling projects.
“We’re doing a lot of everything,” says Feagles, a multi-talented, multi-faceted builder. “We are in our full glory right now, operating on all eight cylinders as a seasoned master builder.”
